Très bien pour alimenter les appareils nomades que l'on construit et pour réguler un petit panneau solaire puisque le tension d'entrée peut varier et même être très en dessous de la tension de sortie.
Ce n'est pas un modèle de miniaturisation, mais le prix est mini.
C'est une carte intéressante autant pour le bricoleur, pour le prototypage d'instruments loin d'une source de courant et extraire le dernier électron d'une pile.
