-It's really cheap and works like a charm
-My DS Lite is alive again
-The colors are a little washed off. Becomes really noticeable with grey and blue colors. But it could be that mine is defective; I bought a new one to test this.
Also not exactly a con, but remember: taking apart a DS Lite takes a while, probably an hour if it's your first time (It takes me less than 10 minutes now btw). You need to know to use a soldering iron because the speakers are soldered to the 4 contacts seen in the picture. Not exactly rocket science but you might need to ask someone for help or their soldering iron. Just apply a bit of solder onto the speaker cables, place said cables on the contacts, heat them with the iron JUST a few seconds and that's it.
Oh and by the way, be careful when assembling the handheld again, you might break the ON/OFF slider of the volume slider. Take your time!
