Bought two, one to give as a small Gift, and one for my own use. EXCELLENT item; well made, exactly what I wanted and needed (could have used more length on the cord, its only about 24 inches). I love it that the red light indicates it has power. I use this every single time I leave my home! If you plan to use the USB portion for an Apple product be sure to purchase the “iPad Charging Adapter”; it allows full compatibility with any standard USB port, including this wonderful “Translucentf 1-to-3 Cigarette Socket Power Splitter with USB Port”. Recipient also enjoys it very much and I am ordering at least one more as a gift! Bought in Aug 2012, prices at miniinthebox have been very competitive for most items through Dec 2012. Will continue to check here first, if prices remain the best bargain I will continue to shop here, as their products have always arrived QUICKLY and work perfectly.

Much sturdier quality than you have any right to expect for this price!

Everything works perfectly so far.

I can charge my phone via USB while using the phone to play music via my stereo using a 3.5mm cable while I wait for a bluetooth kit, ( only waiting until my bluetooth kit arrives shipped the same time) from Mini in the Box...............

I had all the other ports in use charging a sat nav, a tablet pc my son was using to play games and the last port for my cigarette lighter of course.

There is a very long cable from the male plug for the power plugging into your lighter socket to the 3 port/usb charger.

This means you can put it pretty much anywhere you want around the dashboard or centre console area. They even provide a high adhesive pad for you to use to stick it in place with. the same type that car windscreen repairers use to bond mirror to the inside of the windscreen, I know from my time in the motor trade.

Just bear in mind how permanent you want the fixture to be though, and how tempting for thieves to see it and assume there are devices in your car and break in whether there are devices or not left in the car........

You can just as easily use it like I did with a universal mount kit from a small (old) sat -nav to hold it while you plug everything in or simply place the device in the passenger foot well of even on the back seat with the luxury of length of cable on this multi-socket charger, lol.

Great product for the money which is actually in my opinion, easily worth "thrice the price", and being a 3 port charger plus a usb charger it is not only pretty unique it is also great to find that it has no problems handling all the power requirements for my devices without getting even mildly warm AT ALL. So nice and safe too.

Higly reccomended for people like me with multiple devices and kids that run their euipment flat on long journeys.

Remember of course you can attach a multi usb hub/splitter device to the usb point on this unit and charge phones and tablet PC's galore as they are such low power drain units.
