It took a while to get used to telling the time with this watch, but now it comes as second nature. You need a firm tap on the face and after one of five different flashing displays it tells the time. Flashing white LED for the hour and the blue LEDs for the minutes. Stays on for 6 seconds which is plenty long enough when you get used to it. For the price a lovely and inexpensive way of time telling!!

What a cool and extraordinary watch! Delivery, as expected, took a little while but when it arrived... boy, was I pleased!

Setting the time is easy if you take the time to understand the instructions. Changing the battery is nice and easy - just make sure you've got a tiny cross-point screwdriver to hand.

This has everything I've always wanted in a wristwatch: pure black face with no makers mark, date window - or hands! Each time you activate it by touching the glass, it displays a different LED animation then displays the time. The flashing LED shows the hour and the blue LEDs denote the minutes.

In case you can't follow the instructions, here's how to set the time:
Touch the watch screen eight times in succession*, holding the last touch for four seconds. This allows you to set the hours - just tap the screen again to advance through each hour.

When you reach the correct hour, keep your finger on the screen for a further four seconds - this allows you to set the minutes. Tap the screen to advance through the minutes until you reach the desired time - then don't touch it again until the display goes off. Your time is now set. Easy!

It's a wow amongst friends and definitely goes to the top of my favourite purchases list.

*Don't make the mistake, when setting the time, of touching the screen too quickly in succession - make each touch about a second apart for the best results.

Q: Instruction manual I see that many of the comments have an issue about not recieving an instruction manual.
