well I have cancer and lost my ability to speak.
I kept looking for something that was light weight to carry in my tote as a form of communication.
I tried a dry erase board but well people didn't really think that was appealing.
With this it is easy for me to ask where something is in a store people kinda' still give me a dirty look and then with a hit of a button it magically erases.
What I was acturally looking was like a miniature computer where I could just type and show and be able to multi task all at the same time, I found several but just couldn't afford any of them.
I recommend this product highly for people who can't talk, just wish it had a place to put the stylus as I have went through 4 already.
Technology is getting better for people with disabilities.
NIB DOES NOT WORK ON IPAD/IPHONE.
Sorry for shouting, but I have an iPad and this stylus's nib DOES NOT work on the iPad or iPhone devices, the only part of the stylus that works is the fat slanted end, which frankly is blinkin' hit and miss whether you can get it to work!
I feel quite angry because I read some of the reviews before buying and I found most were positive for being able to write notes, reviews such as (these are not my thoughts, but parts of others' reviews); "now customers can sign the forms" or "I can draw more detailed images on my iPad" or "very useful for writing or drawing on the iPad". The negative reviews - which were much less - didn't make sense, I couldn't work out if the nib end would work or wouldn't, based on so many people saying how wonderful it was being able to handwrite notes or draw.
So I took the plunge as it wasn't that expensive (compared to the capacitive types) and really regret it now, as I have a big fat stylus that is really hard to use!
Therefore I want to warn ALL iPad and iPhone users - or those with Apple type products that use the same screen technology - if you want a stylus that looks and acts like a pen DO NOT buy this model as you will be disappointed.
If, like me you're wondering how on earth so many users say it's wonderful and they can draw fine art pictures, yet you've stumbled upon my review and think I must be bonkers or maybe using the stylus in the wrong way - DO NOT be fooled! I have been an Apple user since the 3GS phone days, I've got the 4s phone now, I own an iPad 1 (my son now has) and an iPad 2 (I still use), I have tried and tested many stylus's and none really help me write very well, which is a shame because I have a wicked app called Notes + that allows for hand-written notes.
This stylus certainly hasn't done what it said on the tin, I feel it's a misleading product with some incredibly misleading reviews, I'm beginning to think that the only stylus really produced to work like a "pen" will be the capacitive type, it's just a shame there's nothing in the lower price range as I'm still desperately needing a stylus!
Thanks for reading - you have been warned!!!
Very impressed with the quality of this Stylus and at such a good price! Very helpful for those delicate drawings etc.
Dies exactly what it says on the tin! Very useful for writing or drawing on the iPad :)
You guys are the best am happy with what i purchased good quality thinking of buying more

Hi! i bought this to work with the smal sise but doesn't work. I need some special Apps to the ipad?
ByValentina Braue
We purchased 4 of this stylus pen for use with 4 of our ipad 2. The medical program we use has small icons to touch and grab to move over to patient's chart. The stylus pen we have is too big for this. However the pens we purchased from you with the fine tip will not work on the ipad 2. We have tried everything to get them to work but they will not. The other end, the large rubber end will work but much too big for our needs. We already have something smaller than the large end of this stylus. When I ordered these stylus pens it stated that the fine point would work with the ipad 2, I feel that this is false advertisement. I would like to return for credit....since we are unable to use them.
