The USB end is ok, but the cable insulation pulled out of the I Pod end. Cable was still functional, but I expected the cable would eventually come out of the I Pod end. Repair with Gorilla Glue (R) and has performed satisfactorilly since. Given the difference in price between this cable and OEM, I would buy this item again and take a chance on needed repairs

Unfortunately this cable is not performing as the original Apple.
It just charges correctly the battery of my i-phone.
But noway to load photos to i-photo .
Noway to be recognized by i-tune and of course no sync.
Lookink closely at the plug , the original Aple has six pin connected and this model has only four.....
It's a pity.

This cable is my best friend hahaha.
It's more durable than the regular iPod/Phone connection. Plus, it came with little plastic covers to protect each side.
