Really pleased with this product. The pattern helps provide a thickness to help hide any surface damage underneath. In my case, I had to remove the armrests then put the slipcovers on - then make small holes in the slipcovers to re-attach the armrests. I really like these low-profile counter stool covers. My leather counter stool seats are uncomfortably cold to sit on in the colder months, so I wanted a thicker cover to insulate them a bit. My previous covers were thin and slippery chenille with no texture. While these slipcovers arent thick, the texture reminds me of soft corduroy, so Im hoping they are thick enough to keep my bum a bit warmer than my previous covers. These also sit very snuggly to the stools and dont seem as slippery as my previous covers. A note about color: the black is a "cool" black. My original black leather is a "warm" black. I almost wish I had ordered one of the brown shades instead, since my kitchen has a lot of brown fixtures. But, on the whole I really like these slip covers!
