A: Even standard size dresses are made to order for each customer. The custom nature of our dresses means our cancellation and return policy is stricter than other items, so it's important to order carefully.
Q: What is the best way to choose my size?
A: Our size chart is independent. To choose the best size for you, please check the size chart on the product page, and refer to the measurements below each size. You can also refer to our measuring guide to see how to measure yourself. To ensure the dress fits you well, we also suggest you choose custom size, which means that we make the dress based on your exact measurements.
Q: Can I change the design of a dress?
A: Due to agreements with the dress designers, we make the dresses strictly according to the pictures shown on our website. Each dress is carefully tailored to match exactly what you see in the photo, and unfortunately we are unable to modify the style, length or fabric in any way.
Q: Will my dress exactly match the color I see on your website? Eg: Will the white color and ivory color look the same? If not, what's the difference?
A: Different fabrics, camera resolution and computer monitors can mean the color may vary slightly between the photos and the actual fabric. Colors are subject to the actual dresses you get. We suggest you order a fabric swatch to view colors in person. In terms of the two colors, white is a bright, pristine color with no mixes or shades of any other color like pure milk. On the other hand, ivory has a slight tint of yellow or cream. The ivory color is very close to pure white but due to differences in lighting and the added hints of other shades it differs.
Note: The Hollow to Floor measurement of our standard dresses already includes 2 inches (ca.5 cm) extra to fit high heels.

Fact 2 - What you see in LightInTheBox is what you get, which means when we say the photo is taken by LightInTheBox, we mean it, and the dress on the picture is exactly the same as the dress you will get. Be aware that this may very likely not be true, if you consider buy from some other places online.
Fact 3 - A made-to-order or made-to-measure dress is much more expensive to make than a dress from a mass production streamline, because it is handmade by skilled workers one dress at a time. You should never compare the price of a made-to-order dress with a mass production dress, but a made-to-order dress is much better in quality and fitting.
Fact 4 - Why we can provide cheaper prices compared to offline stores? It is because we don’t pay expensive store rents and we don’t take a lot of inventory, when we make the made-to-order dresses for you.
