Purchased this to replace a large lower hanging standard ceiling fan in my spare bedroom/office/fitness room which was overpowering the room in size. Love how this fixture hugs close to the ceiling, as it opened up the office making the room appear much larger. Directions were a little tricky to follow, but actual installation was not too difficult.

The room is super bright now! The light dims, which is nice because it’s almost too much light on the brightest setting.
The little fan is pretty powerful as well. Makes a soft humming sound while fan is running, but about the same noise level as a standard ceiling fan would make.
