I have been meaning to review this for quite some time! I am sometimes clumsy in the kitchen and I have knocked this on the floor about two dozen times! The battery compartment flies off the back and I just put the batteries back in and it still works great! I even built a stand for it out of wood I like it so much! And AA batteries seem to last forever in it with it still going strong. I even knocked it on the floor and the whole black case separated last time. I just found the battery contact springs, put everything back in place and it snapped right back together! I absolutely love this! Engineered exactly the way it should be. Please dont raise the price, in case I accidently step on it and crack it to bits, I will want to buy another at same excellent price.
