It was fairly easy to install. We used it as replacement for an older lamp. This light is very light weight. At first we couldn’t figure out how to work the remote to change the color and brightness of the light. We used YouTube videos and those helped. Make sure to measure the height before installing. This lamp is very bright, and works great in my kitchen. It’s actually the main light in it. I think the price is a very good value. I recommend it. It was fairly easy to install. Beautiful Light!! We remodeled our entire house and unneeded new lights in every room. This is over my dinning room table.
