Our bedroom did not originally have sconces but we wanted to install some with our remodel. We were willing to hardwire them but didn\t want to install a wall switch too because we aren\t electricians! These come with an on/off directly ON the lamp, which was the perfect solution for us. We bought and installed the khaki color, but there are so many pretty colors to choose from! I love the gold embellishment\s, and they look great with the Edison bulbs. Super happy. Yes, the quality is not great, but you cannot tell. They are really good for the price. They dont look cheap once they are installed. Very cute lamps Super happy.
