We bought this to replace an existing, expensive, over the bath, brass faucet/shower set that had hot and cold taps for mixing the water temperature and which made getting a good temperature difficult. This was interchangeable with what we had, so we didnt need to use the wall mounts or shower rain head and hose. It works perfectly, we are very happy with it. The rain head is fairly small but probably would work adequately if we needed it. So overall, we are very happy with this product.
