This is my second order for multicolor ones. Uses 2 AA batteries. Have been keeping light on 24hrs./day and has lasted least 10 days, brefore changing batteries.
So if you only use 5 hrs./ day during holiday season you will be fine with your 2 batteries only. Looks nice against window pane creating color reflection.
