This is an excellent product which is absolutely nonslip as the blurb says and safe to use in an over bath shower or in any other kind of shower flooring especially as some tiles can be quite slippery when wet. I have total confidence as a 77 year old in using this mat in my shower. It is really good value for the reasonable cost involved. We needed a non-slip mat for our stall shower, which is a bit larger than average. We shopped at the usual retailers but found only smallish ones 24" x 24" max. This one is perfect for our 40" x 33" shower. We bought the white one, and it is really beautiful! It feels delightful under our feet, and the soft, rubberized under-surface makes it completely non-skid. Even my husband, who didnt think we needed a non-slip shower mat, has had to agree that he feels safer with it. It drains well, and we hang it over the lower rim of the shower to dry overnight.
