The flashlight is a little smaller than expected but it is still a decent size. It seems to be really bright. I am sure it is brighter than it seemed because it was still daylight when I tried it. As if my hubby needs more torches but bought this all singing dancing Flash light as an extra for his recent Birthday. I have to say he seems to quite like it and the cat does too
