TIMING IS EVERYTHING...I just had two of my charging cables break or short out the day after I got this. They were on the way out anyway.
I was just going through cables mindlessly, on Amazon,when , voila..there it was, exactly what I was looking for. ladies, I got the gold just for the heck of it.The gold is shiny but not glaring at you. All humor aside, I like the cord, how it performs, and it is nice to charge a .phone and Kindle at the same time.
