Great on your bare feet. The material is soft and comfortable. Much better than my old tiled floor. They grip well. Years ago I had an indoor/outdoor rug that was kind of slippery and dangerous. The rug is of great quality. It was delivered as requested and received in perfect condition. The rug is spongy to walk/work on in my kitchen. The length is great to use across almost 5 feet 59" in front of the sink and counter. This one has, maybe three colors in a well designed pattern with a border. I have actually just ordered another, same product but different design & colors for my bathroom! Excellent product and excellent value. Highly recommend this rug and LITB has been doing great packaging and tracking and ultimately delivering more timely than a couple years ago when first I ordered from them. We have a lot of traffic in our kitchen as well as cooking a lot and we needed something that could collect wet and misc things as well as not show stains and have a nice grip on the floor. We had a very popular washable rug before this that never washed clean and looked dirty all the time almost immediately. I really like the colors of this rug set And I like that it is a one piece washable rug, and that you don’t have to store a mat while washing the top layer. I did spill some brewed espresso grounds on it and was able to wipe it up with a wet washcloth and it did not leave a stain. So I am excited to see how it holds up to our tough family . These mats are comfortable. Doing a lot of cooking and baking, I am in the kitchen a lot. The tile floor is not the kindest to my feet. These mats are perfect as they are thick, but not too thick where they feel spongy. Also, when they get wet, they are not slippery like my other mat. They are easy to clean and they have a decent grip on the floor to stay in place. They do slide a little when I push at the edge, but when standing on them, or walking across them, the mats do not slip. These mats are comfortable.
